The Brief

This typical new-build garden in a very contemporary development had a runway of a path to the office above the garage, lawn and nothing else. The clients wanted a garden with a wow factor, using a few different materials, a body of water and easy access to the office.

The Solution

The concept of the curved cantilevered pergola was a difficult one to deliver but we got there thanks to some great teamwork with two steel companies who made the pergola together. It definitely delivers the WOW factor!  A Corten steel trough creates a boundary to the first patio with a reflective pool of water. Planting along with a meadow at the end of the garden completes the look with lights to bring it to life in the dark.
