The client wanted their garden to have both a formal swimming pool and a natural pond along with other areas for sitting and entertaining.
Thankfully a very long garden enabled a design where these two water features wouldn’t conflict with each other, and two very different spaces were created. The far end has a beautiful natural pool, complete with fish, and a bespoke copper water bowl and copper ‘leaves’ set into the planting. A deck and bridge allow you to interact directly with the pool. Closer to the house, a much grander scheme includes a Shade Zone pergola with remote control blinds and roof blades. A bespoke steel seat filled with slate cladding separates this part of the garden from the more natural end, while making a stunning feature in its own right.
Colour splashes of teal planters tie in with one of the sections of steel seat and the teal blinds on the pergola. This can be further enhanced with cushions, etc when the furniture is ordered.
